La luna,alla quale tutti prima o poi volgiamo gli occhi, in questa fiaba diventa portatrice ,tramite un suo raggio, di una buffa richiesta : vuole imparare a giocare come tutti i bambini del mondo.
Così ordina al suo raggio più amato “ raggio di luna” il “rapimento” di uno spazzacamino che potrà aiutarla ad esaudire il suo desiderio.
Perché proprio uno spazzacamino ? Facile da capire.
Gli spazzacamini sono delle creature molto vicine al cielo, più di altri essere umani. Gli spazzacamini parlano spesso con la luna.

“Esiste un palazzo là, sulla luna, fra i Raggi della Luna…questo luogo è là da sempre fra il cielo e la terra :chiunque può vederlo se vuole”.

Importante : dedichiamo questa storia a tutti i bambini del mondo ai quali l’idiozia umana e la cattiveria hanno tolto il gusto del gioco e a tutti i grandi del mondo i quali non ricordano più che con un sogno felice si può anche andare sulla luna.

Trama

Uno spazzacamino, viene rapito da un raggio di luna. L’omino, sporco di cenere,deve insegnare a Raggio di Luna come giocano i bambini della terra.
La luna è molto triste perché il suo grande amore, il sole, non la ama più essendosi innamorato di una nuvoletta.
Questo è il motivo del rapimento: forse, giocando, la tristezza della luna potrà affievolirsi. Lo spazzacamino si intenerisce e molto onorato di essere stato scelto, lui, così sporco e povero ma tanto vicino al cielo, si impegna per esaudire questa richiesta.
I giochi saranno sette: uno per ogni giorno della settimana. I giorni avranno una forma, un colore, una voce. Purtroppo , i due protagonisti si capiscono poco e, spesso, male; nascono, così,incomprensioni che saranno superate grazie ai bambini che aiuteranno i due personaggi a comprendersi. I richiami della storia sono molteplici: i giorni della settimana, i colori, le forme, i giochi, i cibi, le azioni. Alla fine dei sette giochi,uno per ogni giorno, i personaggi dovranno tornare ognuno nel proprio mondo ma da questa esperienza di scambio hanno imparato meglio a conoscersi, ridendo, parlando e giocando…saranno andati uno verso l’altro.
Al di là della finalità didattica, lo spettacolo è corredato da una scena e da musiche molto vivaci , emotivamente coinvolgenti e vicine all’immaginario fantastico infantile. (musiche classiche e canzoni)

ANTEPRIMA :  MOON BEAM

The scene opens with a chimney sweep who is cleaning the Street

 (Humming a tune) :

Good morning boys and girls. I am a chimney sweep.
Black shoes, black trousers. black hat, black hands, and black face ! This is my brush, I clean chimneys. Do you know what that is? What’s that up there? Yes, I speak to the moon. The moon is my friend. But today the moon is sad .  Why is the moon sad ? I don’t know! Let’s ask the moon. Why are you sad? Why are you  sad?

Voice off stage of moon

I’m sad because the sun doesn’t love me. I love the sun but the sun loves a cloud.      

 Chimney sweep:

 I’m sorry. Don’t worry be happy. I’m your friend. Now I’m tired and I want to sleep.  I will sleep here with you. Good night friend . Good night boys and girls.

Moon: Good night chimney sweep. Sleep well !

(Music and a song. Moon beam enters and touches the chimney sweep, first one foot, then the hand, and then his head)

Chimney sweep:  Oh my foot, Oh my hand. Oh my head. What’s that ? Who’s that ?

Moon beam:  Svegliati ! Sono io!

Oh the moon wants to play with me! I haven’t got any games. I haven’t got any money. I’m poor. I haven’t got a bicycle. I haven’t got a

television. I haven’t got a Game boy. What games can I play with the moon ? Wait a moment I have an   idea. There are lots of games that the boys and girls play at school. Lots and lots of games.  I will teach you seven games.                                                                       One game for each day of the week. (explains how time is divided on earth ) One game for Monday, one for Tuesday, one for Wednesday, one for Thursday, one for Friday, one for Saturday, one for Sunday.

Moon beam: Fantastic… a game for each day.

Chimney sweep: Ok. Monday This is Monday. (Chimney sweep describes the Monday figure painted on the back drop ) Game number one. The name of the game is 1,2, 3, Freeze (the colour of the day is white)

Chimney sweep explains the game and invites four or five children on  stage to play with moon beam.

Chimney sweep: In Italian I think the game is called “II gioco della conoscenza”  Listen and I’ll show you the game.My name’s Chimney sweep. I have got a big brother and a sister.
I haven’t got a bicycle. I haven’t got a computer. I like football.
1 like swimming. I like hamburgers and chips. I don’t like carrots and I don’t like peas. Now it’s your turn.

Moon beam: My name’s Moon beam. I have got lots and lots of brothers and sisters.  I haven’t got  a cat, I haven’t got a bicycle, I don’t play football and I don’t swim ( now Chimney Sweep asks questions to the boys and girls in the audience).

Chimney sweep I like this game. Who wants to come and play? Hands up! Tell us about you. What’s your name? Hello Marco. (asks him questions). Now we are friends and we know each other better.         ‘

Moon beam: What day is it now ? Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and….

Moon beam: I want to play with you . You are my friend.

Chimney sweep. Ok. Now I must  go to work.

Moon beam…but when you want to play you can ring this bell.

Moon beam : Now close your eyes and I will take you back to earth

Chimney sweep: I want to see, I want to see…
